Griffith March 2012 Race Meeting Cancellation
Due to the many uncertain circumstances regarding rain, floods, isolation of key members, road closures, isolation of Wagga and track conditions, along with discussions with the AKA, this Saturday's race meeting is cancelled.
The track is closed until further notice.
Grenfell March 2012 Race Meeting Cancellation
The Grenfell race meeting which was to be held on the 4th March 2012 has been cancelled due to flooding.
CKRC Strategic Plan - Feedback needed
Please see the Club's Strategic Plan developed by the Club's Executive in conjunction with the club's business consultant.
The next phase is to get members' feedback on the Strategic Plan. This is your chance to influence the club's long-term future.
Members' feedback can be done in two ways; you can email a response to response@canberrakarts.com.au and/or talk to our consultant Brendan Lynch directly. Brendan will be at the Gold Creek Country Club on Sunday 26th February from 11:30am to 1:30pm (confirmed).
When framing your response, please structure it with the changes you wish to see in the current document and things you would like added to the document. Also provide a brief argument in support of the change or addition. Please keep it brief, if further understanding is required you will be contacted.
NSW State Policy - AKA Licences
Following a decision by the board of Karting New South Wales, there are a couple of changes to the rules in relation to AKA licences.
- All AKA licence holders must have more than 3 month CKRC Membership before renewal. Please see Kylie Otter to renew club membership.
- Renewal must be completed 10 days prior to AKA Licence expiry.
- New/Licence renewals will not be processed by the AKA on Thursday or Friday.
All licence holders are reminded that it is YOUR responsibility to request renewals, upgrades, or any other changes to your AKA licence via CMS. It is your responsibility to make sure your AKA licence details are correct.
You are reminded that the CKRC Executive are here to assist you when required, verbal abuse or personal criticism will not be tolerated.

The track has been hired out to both Butterfly Farm & Picton Kart Club this weekend.
CKRC members are welcome to race on Sunday. However, this is not an AKA event.
