Rotax ProTour II - Practice  

 

Practice starts at 8am on Friday and there will be MULTIPLE 8min practice sessions in class order.  

In addition to the $500 prize money up for grabs at the Canberra Club Day (for Rotax Light, Rotax Heavy & DD2), there will also be a new UniPro Data Logger worth over $800 RRP for first place in the Junior Rotax 145kg class.  

Don't forget that entry to the Canberra Club Day is discounted if you have raced the Pro Tour II.

Rotax ProTour Round II -Entries Close 16th April    

 

Entries for the Rotax Pro Tour II close on Friday 16 th April 2010.

Entries can be posted, faxed or emailed directly to the Canberra Kart Racing Club. The details for Canberra Kart Racing Club are in the Supplementary Regulations. 

Rotax Pro-Tour Conditions

All Pro Tour entrants must hold a current AKA full competition A or B race licence.
The only competitors eligible to enter this event are those registered via the www.rotax.com.au website. Registration is free. Each registrant is issued a registration number, this registration number must be supplied on the entry form.
The birth date of entrants in the Over 35's class must be prior the 23rd April 1975.
Entry is $200 per kart, per class.

Rotax Heavy @180kg
Rotax Over 35's @ 170kg
Open Class (DD2 engines only) @175kg
Formula JMA @145kg

Rotax Pro Tour II Info - Update

Cash - Cash - Cash   

As an added bonus on the Pro Tour II weekend in April, Canberra will be having it's April Club day on Sunday 25th, following the Pro Tour II. With all Rotax stand alone classes on the agenda, racers have an opportunity to run two meetings in the one weekend!

Monday 26th April is also a Public Holiday so the weekend will provide an unreal opportunity to get loads of racing and not have to rush home afterwards.

Competitors who enter Pro Tour II AND Canberra Club day will get a discount on the entry fee for the Canberra Club day.

 

In addition to all that, IKD are offering $500 - yes $500 - prize money for Rotax Light, Rotax Heavy & Open Performance (highest placed DD2) winner of the Canberra Club day. There will also be other prizes up for grabs for the Junior Rotax class.

 

Can you afford to pass that up???

 

Please note that the Pro Tour II is a 2 day event on the Friday and Saturday. Practice will be on the Friday and the track will not be available for practice on the Thursday.  

And don't forget how the rankings points system works……the more people in attendance the more points! So get behind the club that gets behind Rotax.

The Pro-Tour is an integral part of the selection process (via the ranking system) for determining the invitees to the 2010 Rotax Max Challenge Grand Final.

This is your chance to get a double dose of racing action!

Three days of fantastic racing - all in the one weekend.

With a public holiday on the Monday, there is plenty of time to head home after a full-on weekend of loads of racing.

Rotax Ranking Points available for both the Pro Tour and CKRC Club Day.

For all those Rotax enthusiasts, Canberra is one of the only clubs in NSW running the full card of stand alone Rotax classes. CKRC offer the following stand alone rotax classes every month. Rotax Light, Rotax Heavy, Rotax Super Heavy, JMax, Rotax Restricted & Open Performance - Including DD2's.

The next CKRC event is scheduled for the 28th February 2010.
