The 2011 Annual General Meeting was held on Monday night at Gold Creek. It was great to see a good turn out from Canberra club members.

Validity of AKA Licences & Club Membership

 

Following a decision of the Executive of the State Karting Council the following licence rules will now be inforced at all canberra race events.

UNLESS A KARTERS LICENCE IS CURRENT AND IN ORDER AT THE TIME OF RACE ENTRY,

YOUR ENTRY WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. There are to be no exceptions to this directive.

 

We would like to remind all Canberra members that it is your responsibility to check the validity of your licence and club membership before attending a race meeting.

The eighth round of the 2011 CKRC season, will be held on the 21st August 2011.

  • Rookies,
  • Junior National Light,

  • Restricted Sportsman 170 Kg & MG Reds,

CKRC - Track Access - 5th - 8th August 2011 

 

The track will be unavailable for practice for AKA Licence holders, between Friday 5th August and Monday 8th August 2011 (inclusive) as we have hired out the circuit to another club (ProKart).

The Canberra Kart Racing Club's affiliation with the A.K.A. is suspended until the 9th August 2011, when the affiliation will be reinstated, as per State Policy.

Grenfell 2-3 July 2011  

 

The Seventh round of the 2011 CKRC season, will be held at Grenfell on the 2nd - 3rd July 2011.

  • The fee for entry in each event shall be $100 Seniors, $80 Juniors, second entry $50.

    The date and time for close of entry shall be 8.30am 2-7-2011, pre-entries accepted.

CKRC - Stable Karting ACT CHALLENGE

              21st & 22nd May 2010 

 

The Canberra Kart Racing Club invites all Junior & Senior kart drivers to one of the biggest events on the Canberra Karting Calendar, run over two exciting days.
 
The ACT CHALLENGE will be a DD2 Special Event and will attract Level 3 Ranking points for DD2 ONLY - Open Performance DD2. 
 

Classes include - Midgets, Rookies, Junior National Light, Junior National Heavy,

Senior National Light, Senior National Heavy, Clubman Light, Clubman Heavy, Rotax Light, Rotax Heavy, Rotax Super Heavy, Restricted Sportsman, JMAX, Open Performance DD2 (only) and, Open Performance ( per chapter '27' 2011 AKA Karting Manual )

 

- Un-Offical Practice - Friday 20th May - 10am – 5pm

- Entries will be taken on Friday from 3pm - 5pm 

- Entries will also be open on Saturday 21st May , but will close at 8am.

- Self Scrutineering - Scrutineering Sheets to be taken to Scrutineer Shed

- Supplementary Regulations - ACT Challenge Sup Regs.

At the recent SKC meeting the below motions were carried, please find below the amended State Cup Series policy & the TaG 125 State Policy which was implemented at the January SKC meeting. To compete in the state cup series the minimum licence grade is C
