The 2011 Annual General Meeting was held on Monday night at Gold Creek. It was great to see a good turn out from Canberra club members.

Validity of AKA Licences & Club Membership
Following a decision of the Executive of the State Karting Council the following licence rules will now be inforced at all canberra race events.
UNLESS A KARTERS LICENCE IS CURRENT AND IN ORDER AT THE TIME OF RACE ENTRY,
YOUR ENTRY WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. There are to be no exceptions to this directive.
We would like to remind all Canberra members that it is your responsibility to check the validity of your licence and club membership before attending a race meeting.

CKRC - Track Access - 5th - 8th August 2011
The track will be unavailable for practice for AKA Licence holders, between Friday 5th August and Monday 8th August 2011 (inclusive) as we have hired out the circuit to another club (ProKart).
The Canberra Kart Racing Club's affiliation with the A.K.A. is suspended until the 9th August 2011, when the affiliation will be reinstated, as per State Policy.

- Entries will be taken on Friday from 3pm - 5pm
- Entries will also be open on Saturday 21st May , but will close at 8am.

The track will be closed from 9am untill the working bee is complete.

2011 State Karting Council Outcomes
At the recent SKC meeting the below motions were carried, please find below the amended State Cup Series policy & the TaG 125 State Policy which was implemented at the January SKC meeting. To compete in the state cup series the minimum licence grade is C
